Lantana camara varieties

Lantana camara varieties are perennial in the southern growing regions of Texas and are root-hardy throughout all but the coldest parts of the state. Root-hardy plants die to the ground in the winter but emerge from the crown the following spring. These showy, drought tolerant, heat tolerant plants were named Texas Superstars® as a series because the horticultural attributes are virtually identical among them. Some examples of Lantana camera varieties commonly found in retail outlets include ‘Landmark’, ‘Lucky’, ‘Shamrock’, ‘Bandana’, ‘Bandito’, ‘Bandolero’, ‘Bandolista’, and ‘Havana’.
