Plumbago auriculata

Tender perennial with profuse blue flowers which thrives in the hot Texas summer. Disease–, pest– and deer–resistant. Sometimes called “sky flower” because of the sky–blue color of its flowers. Native of South Africa.

Size: Height — 3–4 feet tall; width — up to 5 feet wide

Bloom time: May till frost

Care: Plumbago can be a bit rambling if not pruned; prune spent flowers to encourage re–blooming and to maintain desired plant shape
