'Henry Duelberg' Salvia

Salvia farinacea 'Henry Duelberg'

Low maintenance, heat tolerant, native perennial with masses of showy blue flowers

Hardiness: Zone 7

Exposure: Full sun

Size: Height 3 feet; width 3 feet

Care: Spikes of showy blue flowers from spring until frost. More floriferous than other cultivars. Texas native plant; found by Greg Grant in a small central Texas cemetery. Taller with bluer and more floriferous flowers and larger and greener leaves than modern cultivars. Not preferred by deer.
